Rosalia
Rosalia Vila known as Rosalia is the Spanish Pop/Flamenco performer. Her work has been in the margins of both traditional and popular music since she was a teenager, she is also involved in other genres such as hip-hop soul and trap. Pepe Habichuela, a flamenco guitar player with a lot of talent, describes her voice saying that it was sweet and had an old-fashioned bit. El Mal Querer, her second album following Los Angeles in 2017, was both a critical as well as a commercial hit. It topped the Billboard Latin Pop Albums Chart and received an Grammy. La Fama was released by the Weeknd in 2021. Motomami the third album by her was a collaboration with songwriting partners Cory Henry and James Blake. The album was released on the 20th of March, 2022 following the performance by Chicken Teriyaki by Saturday Night Live. Rosalia became the first Spanish solo performer to be a part of the show on Saturday Night Live. Motomami was the only female in the history of music to be a recipient of the Latin Album of the Year two times, as well as the three Latin Grammy Awards.
